Mom and dad have always told us not to talk to strangers. But in this modern age, there’s good in meeting strangers too. Especially those ones who’ll leave you some inspiration and a $20 bill inside your pocket. What could be wrong with that?
Our today’s story is about meeting strangers and getting inspired by them. It’s 2017 and everything around us have changed. As a matter of fact, there’s a huge difference to what we see now in comparison to what we had before.
I don’t know about your observation but my observation is that, people of today have become more open about their personal thoughts. Some even share “too much information” about their lives on social media platforms.
So what’s new in bumping into a random person, have a quick chat, and feel like you are already connected? In a changing world where it is easy to create a connection, I see this scenario is quite common.
However, let’s not discount the fact that dangers are lurking everywhere as well. It’s good to be friendly and kind to our people but it is still necessary to be vigilant.
There are humans who have mastered the art of disguise and they will trick you into believing their good intentions. When the truth is, all they want is to steal your happiness, money, and all they can take from you. So be observant and watchful.
But then again, this scary situation doesn’t happen all the time. As long as you are attentive, sharp-eyed, and heedful of a stranger’s intention, I guess you can tell if the person you are entertaining will do you good or harm.
This is exactly what the mom of our today’s story did when a stranger approached his son at Target. She admitted that it was a bit scary seeing an old man talk to her kid like they knew each other. See the full story below.
