Oden, a brave German Shepherd allegedly attacked a yet identified intruder in Richmond, Virginia. The homeowners were shocked when they returned and saw blood splatters on the floors and walls of their home.

It may not be new to everyone but I feel a pinch in my heart every single time I read stories about dogs rescuing humans. For me, tales like this are proofs that canines are one of the most loyal animals ever.

As a matter of fact, many pet owners owe their lives to their doggies. Do you remember the stories we shared here about animals saving human lives? Two of those animals are dogs!

And now, there’s another story that substantiates the fact that dogs will never let you down in times of need. Even if it puts their lives to a possible harm. Let’s visit the full narrative below.

Tristan Murrin, a resident of a town in Richmond, Virginia, said he felt there was something weird when his German Shepherd welcomed him at their front door. But I’m guessing he didn’t expect to see the extent of what his four-legged buddy did to protect their home.

Murrin’s dog, Oden, greeted the man immediately upon his arrival. But he quickly spotted blood stains on the ground and in the walls inside the home were blood trails coming from the second floor.

The homeowner, was of course, met with surprise. He had no idea that Oden just came from a tough wrestle earlier that day to shoo an intruder away.

Thankfully, the German Shepherd was safe and unharmed during his ramble with the bad guy. But based on the amount of blood spilled in the house, it appears the burglar was left in pretty bad shape.

What’s ironic is, Murrin shared that Oden is not really an aggressive pet. Imagine his shock when he realized what his dog could have done to the intruder.
