Starbucks is no longer offering their famed Unicorn Frappuccino, so maybe it’s time you forget that drink. It seems the giant coffee chain will not be selling the controversial frappe again after receiving negative feedback from the public.
But in case you are still fascinated by colorful drinks, try a DIY Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino! It’s easy, inexpensive, and it’s giant!
Today, I’m sharing a DIY Unicorn Frappuccino I found on YouTube. The video is hosted by kids so it’s really entertaining to watch. If you love colors as much as these kids do, you will surely enjoy making your own colorful drink at home.
The DIY Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino is just a regular milkshake with added colors. It’s a pretty cool idea to turn your milkshake into a colorful drink by adding colored sugar and topping with blue and pink sprinkles!
It’s also very simple to finish your DIY Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino. You just need to run the ice cream with some ice and milk in the blender and put some colored sugar. To make a colored sugar, add food coloring and mix well.
However, the kids in the video picked a yellow colored ice cream, a mango or cheese flavored maybe? The only concern you might have is not getting the color you prefer if you choose a flavored ice cream if you didn’t add enough colored sugar.
So for you to come up with vibrant pink and blue colors similar to Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino, you may experiment with a vanilla flavored ice cream and a blueberry or strawberry flavored ice cream. What do you think?
But whatever flavor of ice cream you decide to use, I’m sure your drink will come out very yummy and refreshing. Just top your DIY Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino with whipped cream and add some colorful sprinkles for an added presentation.
