It’s not everyday that we hear stories about witty animals saving themselves from an imminent danger. So today, I am sharing with you a fresh narrative about a puppy who rescued himself from a house fire in the most clever way. Do you think this interests you? If so, read on!
The firefighter team of the Fairview Fire Department in North Carolina had a unique rescue experience when a local house caught fire. Reportedly, they quickly drove to the location of the burning residence to help the family retrieve their dogs trapped inside their home.
As per the homeowners, their two pets were inside the house when the fire started. They can’t, of course, enter the residence in an attempt to rescue the dogs as it was almost covered in flames.
Thankfully, the firefighters were quick to respond and got there in time. When the team arrived, some of them did their best in putting out the fire while the others went straight to the burning house to search for the canines.
After just a few minutes of searching, the team was able to retrieve the older pet. Immediately, they brought him outside to get some fresh air. The other responders then administered oxygen to the dog survivor as the crew entered the house once again to find the other pup.
However, the second doggie was not so easy to locate. It took the firefighters quite a long time to figure out where the canine was. They actually moved around every furniture to easily see the pup but to no avail.
So when the dog was nowhere to be found, they started wondering if it’s possible that he was still inside the house. It was at that moment when the puppy surprised them with a faint bark coming from somewhere. The puppy is alive! But where is he?
One of the firefighters apparently heard some noise coming from under the couch. It was one of the sofas they moved around as they were trying to find the dog.
