There is a reason why dogs are said to be a man’s best friend. The happiness we feel when we are surrounded by our furry pets is incomparable to the joy that material things can bring. Do you feel the same?
If you, too, are a pet owner, you definitely understand how valuable these animals are. And you probably have an idea how it feels when our dogs are battling a painful illness.
Just the thought of my dog suffering from pain brings a tear to my eyes. I don’t know about you but I am a bit emotional when it comes to my pets.
That’s why when I heard this news about a rescue pit bull who was finally able to see clearly because of human contact lenses, my heart leaped with delight. In case you missed it, let’s revisit the story below.
A New York couple Chris & Mariesa Hughes owns a dog they call Gremlin. Gremlin is a rescue pit bull who battled cancer at four years old. More than that, the poor four-legged furry girl developed irritable bowel syndrome, a blood disease, and cataracts that affected her vision.
Struggling to have a second chance at life, Gremlin’s deteriorating condition concerned Chris and Mariesa. And so the couple didn’t stop searching for vets who can help their lovely rescue dog. “They are our family and we have made a promise to them to give them the best life we can,” said the lady owner as per a report by Life Daily.
