A series of serious catastrophes had hit several counties across the world in the past weeks. One of which is the devastating earthquake that shook Mexico recently. Many buildings, even historical ones, were damaged while a lot of people’s lives were put in great danger.
We know in times like this, we can’t avoid deaths and injuries. As a matter of fact, many have perished according to the latest reports.
Many are missing and the authorities are still digging through the rubbles to find the victims. In this very sad and tragic incident, the families, friends, and relatives of the missing people are apparently holding on to the hope that they might still be alive.
However, a couple of days passed and the death toll is continuously rising. Reports confirmed that the number of victims killed has climbed up, including kids.
Despite this, a lot of people still camped near the fallen buildings. It appears they would stay at the location until they see their trapped loved ones recovered from the pile of debris.
And just recently, a lucky German Shepherd was rescued from the rubbles. It seemingly gave some families hope that people trapped underneath could still be breathing. If the dog managed to come out safe and alive, there’s a hint of optimism that people stuck in some buildings may come out the same way.
The said dog seemed to be unharmed. Thanks to the rescuers, he was rescued just in time. And this rescue really gave hope to those people waiting for their trapped families to be revived from the rubbles. At this moment, all they can do is hope and pray.
Rescue operations are still ongoing days after the said earthquake. The volunteers said that they will not stop until everyone who has gone missing are found. It might take two more weeks probably.
