I wish one day I can travel the world in my own cozy trailer with my whole family. But reality check, the kids need to attend school. So, that’s impossible for now but who knows? Maybe my journey would start in the near future!
I know it’s just not me. I guess you or your friend or your cousin or even your workmate would also love to travel one day. Maybe it’s one of the few things we have in common.
Because of the pressure, stress, and rumpus that the urban life is giving us, who wouldn’t want to take a break and explore the rest of what the world has to offer? Traveling sets us free from the toxic that we face everyday. So, would you not be happy to give yourself a ticket to a life with nothing much to worry about?
If I were given that privilege, I would embrace it with two open arms. That’s why I was so inspired when I came across the story of a man who left his career and sold his properties just to travel for his lifetime. Oh, yes, I wish I could do that too!
Now, let’s talk about Rich East. He is just a simple guy with a lifelong goal – to travel the whole of Australia. And so, he sold his home, left his job, and let go of all his possessions to live in a campervan.
But there’s somebody that he can’t just turn his back on. This someone matters to him more than his valuable things. I am talking about his very lucky cat Willow.
So this story is not just about Mr. East, really. It’s about Willow, the black adventure cat who was so fortunate to travel the six states and two territories of Australia. Not to mention this feline traveled in a comfortable van with free food and lodging. I must say that’s the good life kitty!
Willow must have been a very good pet to deserve the privilege of seeing and touching the grounds of Australia’s “perfect eight.” Not all Aussies are granted that journey.
