Anyone can throw old clothes, shoes, bags, and any material things when they are no longer useful. But throwing a cat out a car window? It’s beyond me!
It was one ordinary day when Mr. Erin Brown decided to drive his 14-year-old son Gavin to a birthday party. The way to the party seemed just a regular drive until they saw a cat flying out of a car window.
A flying cat? Yes, you read that right. A unknown driver apparently threw the cat away on 196 through his/her car window. I can’t find the right words to describe this incident. I mean, why throw a cat on a highway? Is the driver trying to kill a poor animal?
Well, luckily for the kitty, Mr. Brown and Gavin saw what happened. Swiftly, the father hit the break to stop their vehicle. Gavin then jumped out the car to rescue the feline.
The cat was, of course, terrified after being thrown out of the car. He was left in an unfamiliar place where he doesn’t even know if he would survive or not.
So the pitiful feline ran straight to the edge of the highway and attempted to jump off the overpass. He sure didn’t know what to do. I don’t think he was trying to commit suicide or anything. I believe the cat was just too confused about what just happened so his first instinct was to walk away.
Thankfully, Gavin was quick to catch the kitty before more harm happens to him. Apparently, the feline was able to leap over the bridge already and the boy was just on time to grab the animal.
I guess the incident was too overwhelming for everyone. Mr. Brown was caught in shock seeing a cat thrown out of a vehicle window and witnessing his own son diving into a bridge to save the feline.
For Gavin, the only thing that popped in his mind was to do what he can to rescue the cat’s life. He might have forgotten that hey, he was on a highway and diving to save the cat out him in a great risk for danger.
