Let’s raise awareness about bullying, shall we. When talking about bullying, I often share my personal experience as someone who was bullied in the past. This I am sharing to inspire other kids or people who are experiencing the unhappy and uncomfortable feeling in the company of bullies.
I want to tell everyone being bullied that you should not allow anyone to do that to you. You are special and unique on your own. And you can get through them. You just have to believe in yourself.
I know that because I was a victim of bullies too. But I freed myself from people who see me as a little person who they can make fun of. I moved on and directed my own path to success. And I succeeded because I didn’t let any humps on the road stop my journey.
I drove pass through them. Left the setbacks behind. I accepted that I cannot please everybody so when some people hates me without me doing anything, I just let it go. I also didn’t allow negativity enter my head.
And here I am, a happy and contented individual. I wouldn’t be who I am if I let the bullies get into me.
But now that I have grown more mature, I realized that bullying is a huge societal problem. People think it’s okay but when you reach the “adulting” stage, you’ll really come to realize that there’s a bigger problem behind it.
In the social experiment captured in the clip below, you’ll see a kid being bullied “to the core” in a food chain. The other kid was, for me, abusive of his strength while the boy being bullied was meek and unprotesting.
The bullying act continued until the kid asked the bully to stop. But the strange thing is, only a few people reacted and tried to help the boy.
As the bullying continues, one of the food servers “bullied” the burger. He smashed the food with his fist intentionally to see how customers would react.
