People of the United States would never forget the desolation that Hurricane Sandy brought to the country in 2012. The streets and tunnels were flooded, electricity supply was cut, and many people, unfortunately, died due to the storm surge.

Among the several victims of the deadly and devastating hurricane were Chuck and Elicia James of New Jersey. The couple’s house met damages, including the fence in their backyard, which allowed their pit bull, Reckless, run away.

Reckless the Pitbull, maybe, didn’t intend to leave his owners. It could be that Hurricane Sandy was so terrifying that time, which sparked fear in the dog. But whatever his reason was for leaving, it sure left Chuck and Elicia sad and heartbroken.

So after a year and a half of mending their broken hearts because of Reckless’ departure, the couple finally decided to adopt a new dog. What took them by surprise was that the animal center they chose to adopt from was the same shelter that took their pitbull in. I’m guessing you know what happened next!

They saw Reckless whose name changed to Lucas. But he is still the same dog that loved Chuck and Elicia. As a matter of fact, the pit bull jumped three feet into the air upon seeing his owners! That’s a pretty overwhelming reunion.

This is no horror story but Alfie, a cat owned by Angelo Petrillo, returned after nine months in the grave. Well, it is pretty obvious that the animal didn’t die. Let’s revisit the full story below.

Back in 2009, a car hit a cat near Angelo’s home in Milnrow, Great Manchester, England. The animal has a strong resemblance to Alfie. And since the man was not able to find his pet during that time, he realized it was his kitty who suffered the car accident.
